Membership - Joining LARC
LARC Inc. take adult members aged 18 years and over. Riders aged 16 or 17 years of age may be considered on a case by case basis. These riders must have a parent or guardian present while riding. New adult memberships are welcome. Potential members are most welcome to come and observe a rally to make their decision – contact LARC for details of upcoming rallies.

We currently offer 3 types of membership, Full Riding, Associate and Non Riding. Rates below are based on a full year membership from 1st November 2020 through to 31st October 2021:
Full Riding Membership includes ALL rally costs for the year.
LARC riding memberships have the option of being subsidised through club fundraising activities. To receive subsidised membership, you are expected to contribute 10 hours (full members) or 5 hours (associate and non-riding members) of time to assisting the club during the membership year.
Unless prior approval has been granted by the committee, riding members are required to pay a fully-reimbursable helper duty levy of $100 (full, $50 associate) upfront to serve as a bond for contributing their time. This levy (or part thereof, as determined by the committee) will be refunded at the end of the membership year, or carried over to the following year's membership.
Rally days may be held at our home grounds of Iven's Reserve or another local facility (such as Lloyd Park).
To become a member, you will need to:
1. Complete the LARC 2020/2021 Membership Form:
The membership is to be completed online, and can be found here (opens in new tab). By completing this form online you are agreeing to abide by the HRCAV code of conduct, and relevant LARC guidelines.
2. Print and complete the HRCAV Annual Membership Disclaimer.
3. Make your payment.
Payment can be made over the counter at a Bendigo Bank or via Internet Banking:

4. Post/Scan documents, including the HRCAV disclaimer form to:

If you hold a green HRCAV membership card, this should also be posted for stamping - include a stamped self-addressed envelope for return. Alternatively you will need to organise a time with the club secretary directly for this validation to occur, once your membership application has been processed.
All membership applications (new and renewing members) to LARC will be put forward for approval at the next LARC committee meeting (usually 2 weeks prior to a rally). This process needs to happen before you can ride at rally to ensure we have all the necessary paperwork / administration completed (think insurance!). Once this is complete, you will receive a welcome email with information on how to access the Members Area on the website, to book in for rally, etc. You will also be included on the LARC member list to receive newsletters and other member information from time to time. Members new to the HRCAV will receive a membership pack in the mail once processed by the HRCAV.
Members will not be activated on the website or receive communications from the committee until their membership application is completely processed. Please note that all correspondence to members is via email, and through the website. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for processing.
